Railway rolling stock
Equipment with long life cycles and spare parts no longer available.
Electrical contacts · Reverse engineering
When a contact or conductive part is no longer made, we manage its reproduction from the original part or drawings to keep your equipment in service.
Many industrial and railway installations still run on contactors, circuit breakers and switchgear whose manufacturers have discontinued the spare parts or no longer exist. Replacing the whole unit may mean redesigning panels, recertifying installations or accepting long shutdowns.
Reverse engineering makes it possible to reproduce the part from a sample, even a worn one, by defining its functional dimensions, material and the finishes it needs to perform its function in the equipment.
Measurement of the sample and identification of functional surfaces and dimensions.
Proposed material, coatings and tolerances, with a drawing for your approval.
Manufacture of the replacement part, by our partner manufacturers, in the quantity required.
| Typical parts | Contacts, contact tips, fingers, clips, flexibles, machined copper parts |
|---|---|
| Starting point | Physical sample, even if worn, or old drawings |
| Deliverables | Drawing for approval and finished part |
| Quantities | From a single unit to batches |
Feasibility, materials, dimensions and tolerances are confirmed for each part number after reviewing drawings, samples or equipment data.

Motor control centres and switchboards with older switchgear.
Switchgear panels and circuit breakers installed decades ago.
Replacing suppliers that have stopped making a part.
Yes. The functional dimensions are identified and the original geometry is reconstructed, taking the wear into account.
You receive the drawing or a prototype for approval before the batch is manufactured. Validation in the equipment is the responsibility of the user or their technical manager.
We propose the material best suited to the part's function, equivalent to the original whenever it can be identified.
Mainly contacts, contact tips, fingers, clips, flexible connections and conductive parts in copper and copper alloys.
