Tantalum Tubes

Seamless tantalum tubes (Ta ≥ 99.9%) per ASTM B521. Primarily used in heat exchangers for aggressive acids and chemical process piping. Their thin walls (from 0.5 mm) and corrosion inertness make them unique for HF, sulphuric and nitro-acid environments.

• Seamless per ASTM B521 (extruded and drawn tubes)
• OD 3-50 mm; wall 0.5-5 mm; lengths up to 2,000 mm
• Superior resistance to concentrated HF and mixed-acid service, better than lead
• Service temperature from -200 to +150 C in chemical duty
• Certificates with hydrostatic pressure test and chemical analysis
