Niobium Bars

Pure niobium bars in grades R04200 and R04261 per ASTM B392. Used in particle acceleration (Nb superconducting resonant cavities), process equipment for nitric and hydrochloric acids, and as an alloying additive for microalloyed steels. Cut to length with certificates.

• Nb >= 99.9% in grades R04200 (rolled) and R04261 (annealed/recrystallised)
• Superconducting (Tc 9.2 K), basis for SRF cavities in particle accelerators
• Resistant to HNO3, HCl and most non-oxidising acids
• Low atomic number Z for minimal neutron activation in nuclear fusion
• ASTM B392 certificates with GDMS impurity analysis
