Tungsten Carbide (WC)

Tungsten carbide (WC) with metallic binder (Co, Ni) for cutting tools, dies and wear components. Vickers hardness 1,200–1,900 HV, flexural strength up to 2,500 MPa. Supplied as sintered rods, inserts, powders and EDM-machined parts.

• Vickers hardness > 1,800 HV - extreme wear resistance
• Binder: Co (6-15%) or Ni for non-magnetic applications
• Sintered rods Ø 3-50 mm · Standard lengths or cut to size
• Inserts and EDM-machined parts to CAD drawing
• WC powders and WC-Co blends for powder metallurgy processes
